Miscarriage and didn't know I was pregnant - Don't know how to feel

Where do I start........
I was married seperated in April. I have one little boy who is nearly 2 but I have PCOS and had 2 years of infertily to concieve him. Anyway I got with a new man about a month and a half ago. I wasn't on the pill because me and my husband were trying for a baby before we spilt up 6 months ago and assuming I couldn't get pregnant on my own also didn't use condoms. However my periods were getting more regular not dead on time but maybe a week late so I knew what was happening. However last week I started bleeding a week early than my period was expected.No usual signs of period coming. Thought nothing of it but was strange thought due to be stress. So 10 days later still bleeding and heavy enough.Was getting concerned now. Went to the docs the morning to get checked out. She asked about my sex life and I told her my PCOS history and new man etc and she was quite shocked that I wasn't on the pill etc. She thought I was either pregnant or I had a early miscarriage. My jaw dropped. I hadn't a clue. She advised me to take a pregnancy test but I knew bleeding to heavy to be pregnant. I agreed I had sex around the time I could have gotten pregnant, but stupid me assumed it would be ok. She said to keep an eye on the bleeding and it should settle down etc. I admit when I lost alot of weight before concieving my son I fell pregnant quickly but I assumed it was help from hospital - not me. Again I am back to the same weight agan when I fell pregnant first time around.
I'm in total shock and I don't know how I should be feeling since I didn't know I was pregant I was probably about 4-5 weeks. My new man probably thought I was on the pill we never talked about it. I also don't know if I should tell him.
